Fort Riley Kansas -

Authorities have arrested a second suspect in Friday's plot to detonate a car bomb at Fort Riley. 28 year old Alexander Blair, also of Topeka, KS was arrested and charged with failing to report a felony after authorities determined that he knew about the plot to attack the base.

John T Booker Jr had plans to blow up a car bomb at the base in an effort to "kill as many soldiers as possible". 20 year old Booker was arrested on Friday following the incident where he was trying to connect wires to what he thought was a bomb placed inside a van near the entrance gate to Fort Riley. The criminal complaint sites that the actual bomb was made by an FBI undercover agent made up of materials that posed no threat.

Booker was charged with attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction, attempting to damage property by means of an explosive and one count of attempting to provide material support to ISIS, the Justice Department said.

The FBI started to investigate Booker after he attempted to join the US Army about a year ago and posted messages to his Facebook account showing his readiness to wage a holy war. "Getting ready to be killed in jihad is a HUGE adrenaline rush!! I am so nervous. NOT because I'm scared to die but I am eager to meet my lord, " Booker posted.
